Forbes honoree Marie Weijler joins Cottonwood Technology Fund
Cottonwood Technology Fund, a top-decile performing fund according to Preqin’s latest reporting, is happy to announce that Forbes 30 under 30 honoree Marie Weijler will join the investment team.
In 2014, Cottonwood Technology Fund opened its European headquarters in the Netherlands. Starting with Fund III, Marie Weijler will contribute to the further expansion of Cottonwood Technology Fund in Europe. Her main tasks will include investor relations, ESG performance, compliance and deal sourcing.
Between 2015-2019, Marie Weijler worked as a Senior Manager at private investors network Princip.al. She expanded the network from 450 to 1,500 single family offices and private equity firms. She also sourced more than 100 investment projects in high-tech industries for her clients.
In 2019, she was included in the annual Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list in the Finance category. She is the first Dutch citizen who made it to the list in this category.
Marie Weijler graduated from Leiden University’s renowned law school with a specialization in Corporate Law. Furthermore, she earned a master’s degree in European Studies from KU Leuven, Belgium’s highest-ranked university.
